Abstract
N-Ethoxycarbonyliminodialkylsulfuranes, a new class of iminosulfuranes, are obtained in good yield by the reaction of N-monochlorourethane with dimethyl and diethyl sulfides, followed by treatment of the intermediate sulfonium salts with triethylamine. Mass spectral fragmentation and thermolysis of the ylides and their precursor salts have been studied and some similarities have been observed in the decomposition pathways. Spectral and ...
