Abstract
Macrocyclic diaryl ether heptanoid (MDEH) natural products form a subgroup of the diarylheptanoid family of natural products. Compounds of this class exhibit a wide range of biological activities that include, anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial effects. 1 The common structural core is a diaryl ether moiety connected by seven carbon atoms.
