Abstract

(R)-(-)-Muscone was synthesized in a stereocontrolled manner via the diastereoselective conjugate addition to a cyclic a,@-unsaturated ester of (R,R)-cyclohexane-l,2-diol accompanied by spontaneous Dieckmann condensation. ...
