Abstract

The orientation of the macrocyclizacion reaction leading to the di or tetrafunctional titled compounds has been studied for 12 and 24 membered rings containing ethylene dioxy moieties. The reactions were carried out from not activated diol, dithiol or diamine and from their silyl and stannyl derivatives. They were not performed at high dilution.
