Abstract
The application of metal-catalyzed carbon-carbon bond formation methodologies to the synthesis of polyfunctional compounds is related to the capability of the catalyst to control the chemo-, regio-, and stereoselectivity of the reaction at a reasonable rate under mild conditions.
