Abstract
To synthesize esters (lll-VlI) we tried to apply the known method of the synthesis of N- alkyiindoles with the use of a basic phase transfer catalyst [3], but the attempt to phenacylate chloroacetophenone hydrazone I in the first step proved unsuccessful.
