Abstract
The development of new efficient and easily accessible catalysts has been one of the focuses in asymmetric phase-transfer catalysis. In this paper, a novel class of chiral bifunctional thiourea–ammonium phase-transfer catalysts were synthesized from commercially available α-amino acids.
