Abstract
The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute’s Next Generation Genetic Association Studies Consortium has used induced pluripotent stem cell technology to study the effects of common genetic variants in vitro. This issue of Cell Stem Cell and affiliated journals present several manuscripts describing the results of the consortium’s efforts.
