Abstract

2, 5-Difluorostyrene and 2-chloro-5-fluorostyrene have been prepared by conventional methods. The structure of the intermediate 2-chloro-5-fluoroacetophenone, prepared from pchlorofluorobenzene and acetyl chloride, has been proven unambiguously.
