Abstract

Employing bisimidazolyl compounds as guests, a new type of [2] and [3] pseudorotaxanes based on β-cyclodextrin were synthesized and characterized. From the crystallographic structural analysis and 1H NMR spectroscopy it has been found that the number of threaded cyclodextrin depends on the length of the guest molecule.
