Abstract

The increasing demands of environmental legislation have been prompting the chemical industry to minimize or, preferably, eliminate waste production in chemical manufacture. Environmentally benign processes are requested for primary prevention of pollution, and enviroeconomic factors will become the driving force behind new products and processes. 1
