Abstract
Abstract Substituted phenanthridines, such as the natural product trispheridine, have been accessed by the practical photochemical cyclization of N-benzylanilines. Functionalities, with a focus on fluoro substituents and protected catechols, are well tolerated on both the A and C rings.
