Abstract
The oxidation-reduction reactions of iodide ion with some hydrolytically stable difluoramino compounds have been surveyed. Generally, complete four-electron reductions of the nitrogen atoms in the difluoramino groups do not occur, and nonintegral electron changes result from the formation of mixtures of nitrogen-containing products.
