Abstract
A catalytic method was developed to synthesize aryl and vinyl azides from the corresponding boronic acids under mild and operationally simple conditions. In addition, a new one-pot procedure was developed to synthesize 1-aryl-and 1-vinyl-1, 2, 3-triazoles directly from boronic acids and alkynes, which avoided the need to isolate unstable azide intermediates.
