Abstract

The rates of saponification of ethyl 2-naphthoates and derivatives containing 6-and 7- methoxy1, 5-and 8-amino, 8-diinethylamino and 5-and 8-nitro groups have been measured in io?; aqueous dioxane, for most of the compounds at two temperatures.
