Discussion The synthesis of the bis (aminoalky1) disulfides 5-7 (Scheme I) was initiated to examine structural types different from others we have examined previously, in relation to protection afforded by derivatives of P-aminoethanethlol against Ionizing radiation (cf., for example, ref 7).
