Abstract

Benzylamine aid cyclohexylamine were found to condense readily with dibenzoylmethane to give, respectively,(I) and (11) and with benzoyl-. icetone to give, respectively,(111) and IIV). The reactions of these substances with mineral acids, as well as their absorption spectra, to be reported indicate them to be vinvl amines and not imines
