Abstract
Current interest in the anticancer activity exhibited by 1-methyl-3-nitro-l-nitrosoguanidine2~ 3 and particularly by l-methyl-l-nitrosourea3 against Leukemia L1210 in mice has focused attention on other N-nitroso compounds, such as N-nitrososulfonamide~,~ that have the common property of undergoing basic decomposition to give diazomethane.
