Abstract

Thymyl isobutyrate, thymol, thymyl isovalerate, 8α-hydroxy presilphiperfolene and intermedeol have been isolated from steam volatile extract of Inula cuspidata and identified from their spectral data, synthesis and chemical modification of major constituents.
