Abstract
Summary In contrast to the behavior of binary sulfur-nitrogen ring systems, the six- mewbered 1, 2, 4, 6-thiatriazine unit is stable to both oxidation and reduction. Examples of the three oxidation states-cation, neutral radical, and anion (in its protonated form)-have been structurally characterized.
