Abstract

Abstract: A new and efficient variation of the Robinson-Gabriel oxazole synthesis is described. Oxazoles were prepared by cyclodehydration of 2-acylamino carbonyl compounds with Burgess reagent under monomode microwave irradiation. Key words: oxazoles, cyclization, microwaves
