Abstract

sample of 20 g.(0.096 mole) of bis-(dimethylthiocarbamyl) sulfide'was dissolved in 200 ml. of benzene. To this solu-tion at room temperature was added with stirring over a five-minute period a solution of 38.4 g.(0.48 gram-atom) of bromine in 100 ml. of carbon tetrachloride.
