Abstract
Cross recyclization of 4-aryl-2, 6-diamino-4H-thiopyran-3, 5-dicarbonitriles with acetone leads to the formation of 4-aryl-6-methyl-2-thioxo-1, 2-dihydropyridine-3-carbonitriles [1], the reaction with pyridinium ylide gives 5-cyano-3-(1-pyridinio)-1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydropyridin-6- thiolates [2], and 3-aryl-2-(thiazol-2-yl) acrylonitriles were obtained in reactions with αbromo carbonyl compounds [3].
