Thymosin Alpha 1 is a naturally occurring 28-amino-acid peptide originally isolated from thymic tissue. It is an acetylated N-terminal fragment of prothymosin alpha that plays a critical role in immune system modulation. Thymosin Alpha 1 enhances T-cell differentiation and maturation, increases natural killer (NK) cell activity, and promotes dendritic cell activation.
