Abstract

The 7-(triethylsilyl) propylamides of-the quinolinecarboxylic acids (Ia, IIa, IIIa, and IVe and f) have characteristic chemical shifts of the protons with 5 0.46-0.56 ppm (Si-CH2-C); 0.89- 0.93 ppm (-CHs); 1.56-1.63 ppm (C-CH2-C); and 3.30-3.36 ppm (N-CH~-C). The 7-(silatran-l- yl) propylamides of the quinolinecarboxylic acids (Ib, IIb, IIIb, andIVg) are characterized by chemical shifts 5 of 0.21-0.24 ppm (Si-CH2-C); 1.54-1.58 ppm (C-CH2-C); 2.72-2.76 ppm ( ...
