0, O-Dialkyl phosphorochloridothionates may be prepared by the reaction of 0, O-dialkyl hydrogen phosphorodithioates with hydrogen chloride in the presence of hydrogen sulfide acceptors. Acetonitrile, benzonitrile, ethyl, phenyl and benzyl thiocyanates, and ethyl isothiocyanate function as the hydrogen sulfide acceptors in the reaction.
