Abstract

Abstract The compound tribenzylamine (TBA) and its derivatives are a type of classical tripodal ligands in building up diversity of supramolecular arrays or networks. In the present contribution, we described two new supramolecular complexes 2 [C 21 H 22 N+]·[CoCl 4] 2−·(1) and 2 [C 21 H 22 N+]·[CuCl 4] 2−(2) by reacting protonated TBA with CoCl 2· 6H 2 O/CuCl 2· 2H 2 O.
