Abstract

We present the fourth published case of a child affected with choanal atresia following maternal treatment with carbimazole. The mother was receiving her highest dose of carbimazole at the crucial period for development of the choanae, between days 35 and 38.Copyright 2002 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
