Abstract

A rapid, mild and highly efficient procedure for the chemoselective deprotection of triphenylmethyl (trityl, Tr), p-anisyldiphenylmethyl (monomethoxytrityl, MMT) and di-(p-anisyl) phenylmethyl (dimethoxytrityl, DMT) groups from nucleoside trityl ethers has been established.
