Abstract

Ten cis-2-substituted 1-cyclopropanecarboxylic acids (substituents: H, CH 3, C 6 H 5, CH 3 O, C 2 H 5 O, Cl, Br, CH 3 CO, CH 3 OCO, and C 2 H 5 OCO) were prepared, and their pK a values were determined in water at 25° C, along with those of the trans-2-chloro and 2- methoxy derivatives.
