P-diphenylarylsulfophosphamides can be obtained by condensation of Ph 2 PLi on various arylsulfonyl chlorides. These sulfonamide phosphorus analogues exhibit facile cathodic cleavage reaction yielding, after quenching, diphenylphosphinic acid and aryl sulfide.
