Abstract

Astragalus microcephalus Willd., a representative of the genus Astragalus (Leguminosae L.), showed high antioxidant and leukopoietic activity in biological tests [1, 2]. The chemistry of this plant is little studied. We previously reported [3] the isolation from stems of this plant of the aurone sulfuretin.
