Abstract

Background Effects of two perfluorocarbon (PFC) formulations (perfluorodecalin emulsion and perfluorodecalin liquid) on the quality of liver graft preservation, in a donation after cardiac death (DCD) rat model, were investigated. The significance of continuous graft perfusion during cold preservation was also explored.
