Abstract

Allylation of carbonyl groups by various allylic metals is a highly efficient tool for the synthesis of homoallylic alcohols with the formation of a new carbon–carbon bond. 1 Among the various allylic metals, allyltin is an important reagent with its suitable activity, low cost and easily available.
