Abstract 1, 1-Dichloro-and 1-vinyl-1-chlorosilacyclanes were prepared by reactions of tetrachlorosilane or vinyltrichlorosilane with magnesium and 1, 4-dibromobutane or 1, 5- dibromopentane.
