Abstract

Summary A series of substituted N-(2-chloroethyl)-dibenzylamine hydrochlorides has been prepared and tested as adrenergic blocking agents. Substituents in the phenyl rings, other than methyl, greatly diminish or completely abolish the adrenergic blocking activity shown by N-(2-chloroethyl)-dibenzylamine (Dibenamine) hydrochloride.
