Abstract

Me, CO 7: 1 of the new nitro complexes bis (acetonitri1e) chloronitro-palladium (I1)( and bis (acetonitrile) dinitropalladium (II)(2),'O respectively (Scheme I). Under nitrogen at room temperature, toluene solutions of chloronitro complex 1 cleanly and selectively oxidize 1- decene to 2-decanone in 95% GC yields," based on palladium over a 15-h period (Scheme 11).
