Abstract

A new macroporous stationary phase bearing 'tweezer'receptors that exhibit specificity for cholesterol has been constructed from rigid multifunctional vinylic monomers derived from 3, 5-dibromobenzoic acid, propargyl alcohol and cholesterol.
