Abstract

In order to study such spectral effects, macrocyclic hydrocarbons containing the o-, m-, and p- dibutadienylbenzene chromophores have been synthesized by alkali-isomerization of corresponding dibut-3'-ynylbenzene groupings. In analogous open-chain reference
