Abstract

Abstract Acetic acid or ZnCl 2 promote the palladium-catalyzed selective conjugate reduction of α, β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds with tributyltin hydride. Protonic agents also promote the palladium-catalyzed hydrogenolysis of aryl allyl ethers and allyl carbamates.
