Abstract Diamino derivatives of anthracene and anthraquinone have been synthesised by palladium-catalysed coupling of 1, 8-dichloroanthracene and 1, 8-dichloroanthraquinone with a wide range of aliphatic and aromatic primary and secondary amines.
