Abstract

A series of novel N-, S-, and O-substituted p-chloranil derivatives were synthesized from the reactions of p-chloranil (1) and related nucleophiles in sodium carbonate (Na 2 CO 3 ) solution of acetonitrile or in chloroform with Et 3 N.
