Abstract

The pharmacological importance of many sulfanilamide derivatives containing a nitrogen heterocycle suggested that the isoquinoline nucleus,. present in a variety of alkaloids of pronounced physiological activity and low toxicity, might profitably be incorporated in such a compound.
