Abstract: The effects of structure and stereochemistry on the gas-phase ionization of P- substituted ethanols (XCHzCHzOH), propanols (CH3CH (OH) CH2X and CH3CHXCH20H), and cyclopentanols have been studied by ion cyclotron resonance techniques.
