Abstract

Abstract A series of neutral hexacoordinate silicon (IV) complexes (4a, 4b, 5a, 5b, 6a, and 6b) with a SiO 3 N 2 C, SiSO 2 N 2 C, SiO 2 N 3 C, SiSON 3 C, or SiS 2 ON 2 C skeleton have been synthesized and structurally characterized by solid-state and solution NMR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
