ABSTRACT Reductive cyclization of epoxides tethered to substituted anilines and aminopyridines in the presence of 3 mol% of titanocene dichloride and stoichiometric manganese metal promotes a radical annulation to form 3, 3-disubstituted indolines and azaindolines.
