Abstract

The transition-metal-catalyzed addition reactions of organometallic reagents to alkynes are a convenient route for the synthesis of substituted olefins.[1] Organoboron,-silane,-stannane,- magnesium, and-lithium reagents are commonly employed as the transmetallating agents in this type of addition reaction;[1c, 2] of these, organoboron reagents have gained much attention because of their various advantageous properties.[3] Palladium, nickel and ...
