Abstract

Abstract From the bark of Elmerrillia papuana (Schltr.) Dandy (Magnoliaceae) were isolated the known alkaloids liriodenine, norushinsunine (as its diacetyl derivative) and N- methylushinsunine iodide, together with a new alkaloid, elmerrillicine (as its monoacetyl and diacetyl derivatives).
