Substituted tetralonesl and dihydro-or tetrahydronaphthalenes derived from them2j3 have been studied repeatedly in our laboratories in the past 10 years. The present report describes the preparation of a number of cyclic amidines derived from a variety of substituted tetralones and the hypoglycemic activity exhibited by some of them.
