2-[(Phenylthlocarbamoyl) am/no 1-2, 3-d/hydrobenz-~/d~~ e-7, 3-d/carbothloamMe(6). A 8.35-g sample of 1 and 15 g of potassium phthailmide were mixed in a porcelain mortar. The reagents were heated at 200 OC for 2 h. The product was cooled and dissolved in 100 cm3 of methanol, and 10 cm3 of 80% aqueous hydrazine was added. The reagents were stirred under reflux for 3 h.
